We are testing the campus siren. There is no emergency. This is a test.

Currently recruiting  PhD, Masters students and Undergraduate Researchers to work on the Brain Development project.

If you are intrigued by neurulation, an essential process in early brain development, or hypoxia-induced hypometabolic arrest Рa protective response to low oxygen in which development and physiology arrest, only to resume when oxygen levels return to normal Рthen look no further!

Our lab studies both of these exciting topics using zebrafish as a model organism. You could describe our research as breath-taking or even open minded (or both)!

Here, you can visit pages that outline what our research is all about, view our publications, meet our lab, and get a sense of what life is like in the Brewster Lab.
